| “What really moved us to purchase Trinium-TMS was the ease of use; especially the usability of the dispatch screen. Being able to view all your jobs and drivers on the same screen allows our dispatchers to execute in real-time, allowing each dispatcher to handle more drivers per day which translates into more revenue.”

Client Situation: Client Situation: PTS is a trucking company based in California specializing in harbor/intermodal drayage. In 2001, PTS established the need for a transportation system that would enable them to manage their entire business. The system also had to accommodate the plans for aggressive growth in transactional volume as their business expanded. After an exhaustive evaluation of transportation solutions on the market, PTS chose Trinium-TMS for its scalability, flexibility, and ease of use. Today Trinium-TMS manages PTS’ entire trucking operation. With the software’s multi-site capabilities, PTS opened offices in Stockton and Oakland with a single database centrally deployed at their corporate office in Commerce, CA. Customers and trading partners can also access the system via the Internet under strict role-based access privileges inherent throughout the system. PTS also uses the system’s EDI module to directly communicate with a steamship line customer’s order management system. Transport orders (or load tenders) are sent electronically from the customer’s system into Trinium-TMS at PTS’ site. PTS also sends automated EDI status updates to the customer directly from the system. Order and order status flow is completely automated with no need for order entry or timely customer status calls.
